Pueblo families and business owners deserve to feel safe—period.
Kassidy will push for an aggressive return to proactive policing, including a visible beat cop presence in high-crime neighborhoods, modern crime-fighting technology, and stronger coordination with district attorneys. She will challenge state policies that tie the hands of law enforcement and weaken accountability for repeat offenders.
“We will not tolerate a climate where criminals feel more protected than the people they target.”
Pueblo’s compassion must be matched with results.
Kassidy supports expanding services that help people get off the streets and into treatment, training, or transitional housing—but she’ll oppose enabling policies that allow open drug use or illegal encampments to take over parks, sidewalks, and business corridors.
“We need to help those who want help—and enforce the law when public spaces are being abused. Homelessness is a humanitarian crisis, not a permanent lifestyle.”
Pueblo is ready to grow—but we need leadership that knows how to close the deal.
Kassidy will prioritize business retention, recruit new employers that fit Pueblo’s workforce and landscape, and streamline city processes that frustrate small business owners. She will champion the redevelopment of empty buildings and blighted corridors to bring life back to our community.
“Revitalizing Pueblo starts with protecting the businesses we have and going after the ones we want.”
Pueblo families are already doing more with less.
Kassidy will vote no on tax and fee increases that burden residents, especially during a time of economic stress. She will demand accountability for every public dollar and focus on core priorities like roads, public safety, and infrastructure—not pet projects or political agendas.
“The last thing struggling families need is another bill from the city. We must do more with the money we already have.”
I moved to Colorado when it was considered the entrepreneurial and profit center for new ideas and business. It was the wild west. I have over 30 years experience building my business and brand as a Financial Strategist. I have produced two native sons. My family claims this state and we have history here. I am not neutral about our future. The Colorado border does not end just south of Colorado Springs as those in the north suggest. Pueblo is here, vibrant, and is ready to grow.
Lately, I have seen too many boarded up buildings and talked to too many business owners, the backbone of any economy, fighting to keep crime from their profits. We are losing solid business and tax revenue to crime that has been empowered by legislation that it is too lenient on the perpetrators. We need to fight on two fronts. First, continue to push back on the legislation passed in Denver, and develop and implement the “beat cop” presence is high crime areas as well as take advantage of all technology available to us.
Pueblo Colorado is perfectly placed for economic growth. We are 20 minutes in any direction to a change of scenery. High plains living with a view and paradise in our back yard and on main street. We have the land for expansive projects that could bring in revenue. Let’s revitalize the search for business that would be a perfect fit with our climate, terrain and employable work force.
In short, I want to protect the business that here, recruit new businesses to our unique landscape, and be a safe place for families and business to grow. And make sure we are delivering on promises we made as a voting public to fix our roads!
Let’s revitalize Pueblo and live ready for what is to come.
